White Mountain Lodge Cabins in Greer, Arizona
The White Mountain Lodge was originally an early homestead in Greer, built in 1892 as a pioneer family home. In 1940 lodging was first offered to tourists. The first cabin on the property (Cabin 1) was built in 1910 as a workshop. As tourist started arriving in Greer, the workshop was cleared out in the summers to offer accommodations. The cabin has been significantly upgraded to modern standards. Cabin 2 was constructed in the 1930's and significantly expanded in the 1990's when Cabins 3, 4, 5, and 6 were constructed.
Greer has become a White Mountains vacation retreat in the pines, aspens, lake and rivers. Each season has something to offer: cool summers, fall foliage, winter snow, spring renewal. Guests come to relax, explore, hike, fish, bike, ski, hunt, view wildlife and wildflowers. Skiers enjoy the warmth and coziness of mountain lodging just 19 miles from Sunrise Ski Resort.
The White Mountain Lodge Cabins are located on the north end of the meadow in the village of Greer, a short walk from village restaurants, shops, fishing and hiking. The property is surrounded on two sides by National Forest land and is located less than 100 yards from the Little Colorado River.
